Stay Centered
Do you have any projects that you have started and not finished? You do? Well I know I do, many! We make list upon list of things we need to do and then we add to the list before we ever accomplish what we have started. Now some of this comes from our computers, phones, iPads, etc. We just have so much information at our finger tips and so many choices of what to see, do and look at, that we are all over the place which jeopardizes the completion of many of our tasks. Information is good, I personally love living in this age of unlimited information and technology but we also need to have some balance in our busy life. A way to make the world stop for a moment so we can think through the path to our destinations. We must remember to find our center and stay there for awhile.
Let’s try this simple technique. Find some quiet time ( just a few minutes if that is all you have), take some breaths, download your day and its challenges. You can listen to easy music, a guided meditation or write in your journal, either with a pen or a keyboard. Just calm your thoughts, light a candle and chill. I promise that you will be amazed at the result.
This is the rest of the thoughts from my guides that I quoted to you in my last post…
“What is it that you are looking for that you cannot find in the silence of your day. Take the time and forward your way of thinking so that you are settling in for the joy of your days and not the search for challenge upon challenge. It is a good day for quiet contemplation and an even better day for joy. You are wondering how you will ever figure out how to pull this life together and we are here to tell you that it is easy and it is done. Just stay in the center of the road. Don’t veer off in so many directions. You will dilute yourself like fine wine for a child. Make time for you and make time for your plan. Sit down and complete one thing at a time. Stay with the list for right now and see how far you can get without stopping for air. Get to work and keep your breath in place. Keep to your plan”
